On May 28, 2020, Zhang Xiaolun, Chairman of SINOMACH, met with Zou Lei, Chairman of the Dongfang Electric Corporation (DEC) at the group's headquarters. Bai Shaotong, Deputy General Manager of SINOMACH, Xu Peng, Deputy General Manager of DEC and Wang Bo, Chairman of CAMCE attended the meeting. 

The two parties presented the development of companies this year, reviewed the collaborative projects, communicated the projects under construction and the projects expected to be cooperated in the future, and had in-depth discussions on issues such as strengthening cooperation and broadening areas of cooperation.

He hoped that the two sides would further strengthen pragmatic cooperation not only in areas of service to national strategies, co-implementation of the Belt and Road initiative, technological research and development of industry core technologies and products, but also in new models of life cycle management of the unit and integration of investments, construction and operation, and in new areas like new infrastructure, wind turbine bearings, hydrogen energy, education and training. SINOMACH will seize the new development opportunities appeared in the new situation for the machinery industry to jointly explore the market and jointly promote the enterprises to achieve high-quality development.
