The Energy Infrastructure Cooperation Forum was held in Beijing on Nov 1. Bai Shaotong, deputy general manager of Sinomach, attended the forum on behalf of his company.

The forum was divided into six sub-forums with different themes, involving discussions of the market situation and trends in Latin America, the Middle East and Asia.

Bai met with a delegation from General Electric (GE) while at the event and discussed the ways in which the two sides had worked with each other over the years. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the progress of their partnership, and said that they looked forward to working together on future projects.

Bai also attended a signing ceremony between China Machinery Engineering Corporation (Sinomach's subsidiary) and GE for a joint project in Iraq.
