An inspection team headed by Xian Hui, chairwoman of Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region, visited CMEC (China Machinery Engineering Co) Silk Road International Cooperation Park at Yinchuan Free Trade Zone, in Yinchuan, the region’s capital city, on July 3.

Senior executives from CMEC explained the company’s investment and construction plans, as well as the current state of logistics, processing and export businesses in the park.

Xian praised CMEC’s performance and promised that the regional and municipal governments would continue to provide full support to assist the company’s development in Yinchuan.

She also stated that she would like CMEC and its parent company Sinomach to introduce more new industries to the region to boost local economic development and serve the Belt and Road Initiative.

The office that CMEC has set up in the free trade zone provides a variety of trade services for both domestic and foreign companies, including bonded logistics, processing and cross-border e-commerce.
