A delegation from Hainan province, headed by the vice-governor Liu Xingtai, visited Sinomach’s headquarters in Beijing on June 5.

Sinomach’s Chairman Ren Hongbin and Deputy General Manager Liu Jingzhen extended a warm welcome to the delegation and held discussions on Sinomach’s participation in the construction of Hainan.

At present, the company has 13 subsidiaries in the province, dealing with public construction, hotels, and import and export trade.

It also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the provincial government on July 3, 2017, as a part of a national project encouraging central SOEs to help boost the province’s economic construction.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Hainan being designated as a new province and the Special Economic Zone. The central government has put tremendous emphasis on building it into a prosperous province with a livable ecology, and developing an international pilot free trade zone (FTZ) by 2020 and a free port with Chinese characteristics by 2025.
