A delegation from Pakistan Strategic Planning Department (SPD) and the country’s Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), headed by Arshed Mahmood, an official from Pakistani embassy to China, visited the headquarters of China National Machinery Industry Co (Sinomach) in Beijing on April 13.

Liu Jingzhen, deputy general manager of the company met with the delegation and extended his warm welcome.

The two sides discussed issues concerning the financing and construction progress of a water system project at Pakistan Karachi nuclear power plant, which is being constructed by China Ocean Aviation Group, a subsidiary of Sinomach. They also exchanged ideas on the construction of a seawater desalination plant.
